A Product I Wouldn't Purchase Online

Once upon a time the thought of purchasing most items from the internet seemed like such a bad idea. The disappointment when it comes and it looks nothing like the pictures, the irritation when it doesn't fit or match the way you thought it would, the betrayal you feel when the product reviews have led you astray, and the hassle of doing a return all made it so brick and mortar shops were the way to go. Now, however, most of those concerns have been addressed making it so online shopping is a breeze. Try it before you buy it, augmented reality, and ease of access for returns have completely changed the game but there are still products that I would never purchase online. For example, I would never purchase raw meat online. There is a place that ships sushi grade fish and I cannot bring myself to buy from them at all. I can't stop thinking about salmonella and listeria and the food poisoning I am sure I would have to endure from ingesting it. I think the only thing that could make the idea of purchasing it online more appealing is if it is caught same day and delivered directly to me from the store in a refrigerated vehicle that maintains a safe temperature for the meat which would also add to customer service and satisfaction. I would market it by saying something cheeky like "There's plenty of fish in the sea but ours is the freshest!" highlighting the fact that there fishermen catch the fish daily while making sure to add the careful measures taken to make sure it is delivered to you maintaining the quality.
